Election Important Dates:

The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday,  September 26, 2023 at 9:00 am.  This meeting will be held to review public comments received about the proposed polling place changes and determine next steps.

The meeting is open to the public via live stream and in-person. Please contact Kristen Scott at kristen.scott@calvertcountymd.gov to request the link to attend remotely. The meeting is held at 30 Duke St, Lower Level, Conference Room 1 at the Community Resources Building in Prince Frederick.

Board of Elections Special Meeting on Proposed Precinct Changes will be held on September 12, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Calvert Pines Senior Citizen Center located at 450 W Dares Beach Rd., Prince Frederick, or join via zoom. The public comment period will stay open for 10 days after the meeting. Comments may be emailed to elections@calvertcountymd.gov or sent by mail to Calvert County Board of Elections, P.O. The Primary Election will be held on May 14, 2024
Early voting will take place May 2 through May 9.

The General Election will be held on November 5, 2024
Early voting will take place October 24 through October 31. 


The Election Board is operating during their normal business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Changes to District Boundaries

Election officials have made changes to County, State, and Congressional districts. District boundaries are updated every ten years based on how the population changes. Learn more about redistricting and what it means for you here

The Calvert County Election Board currently maintains a contact list of individuals and organizations who wish to be notified about meetings when changes to polling place locations are proposed. If you would like to be added to this list, please contact Kristen Scott at Kristen.scott@calvertcountymd.gov with your name and email as to where notices should be sent. If you are signing up on behalf of an organization, please include the name of the organization, and the name and email of the appropriate contact person in the organization.
