Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force

Governor Hogan established the Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force, which has recently released their Interim Report outlining steps that are being taken, and will be taken, to address the heroin/opioid abuse epidemic that has engulfed the state, including Calvert County. The Interim Report focuses on improved opioid abuse prevention education and resources available to individuals and families affected. You may read the report on the Task Force website.
