Adaptive Reuse of Tobacco Barns Booklet

Tobacco barns in Southern Maryland are unique to our region and have a long history on our rural landscapes. The Southern Maryland Tobacco Consortium works to assist barn owners in finding ways to preserve tobacco barns and keep them in agricultural use so we do not lose them. Calvert County hosted an internship this summer, the product of which is this booklet, Adaptive Reuse of Tobacco Barns (PDF). We hope it is interesting and useful.
