CAASA provides $4,000 in mini grants to community organizations to encourage and promote prevention education and outreach. CAASA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s mini-grant recipients:
2022-2023 Grant Award Recipients
Calvert County 4-H - Grant funds will be used to support the 4-H Discovers...Teen Mindfulness Program. This program helps to foster mindfulness skill development and thoughtful reflection and aims to reduce stress and the risk of mental illness, all while connecting with peers in their community. Participants will discuss real-life situations and develop problem solving skills to help them make the best choices possible.
The Calverton School - Grant funds will be sued to support the "Making of Future Leaders" Program for students in grades K-5th grade. The program provides students with opportunities to learn and grow leadership skills.
